Seeing Red

Something new arrived while I was away:

I realize it was only one short year ago that I was complaining about “The Force” after bending the chainrings in the world parking lot crit champs of the world, but you know, time heals all wounds.  Plus, the new chainrings appear much tougher.  Not sure what I am going to with it just yet, but it sure looks neat.  For sure, it won’t be on the cross bike, but maybe I could put the force group on there…

  1. Wasn’t part of the issue with SRAM their ownership of a certain competing wheel brand? I don’t think you should be supporting your rivals, why don’t you just forward the box on to me?

  3. You see me and you laugh out loud
You taunt me from safe inside your crowd
My looks, they must threaten you
To make you act the way you do

    RED, I’M SEEING RED

You see me and you think I’m a jerk
    First impressions without a word
You can’t believe your eyes at first
But now you know you’ve seen the worst

    RED, I’M SEEING RED

  4. Well you seem to be the only one who knows what I am talking about when I drop a hardcore reference, or the only one who admits it, so you know, now I am compelled to pepper them in from time to time to make sure you are still reading. Was that a run-on sentence? Run-on sentences are so punk rock.

  5. Kirk- I gave it some more thought. Both “other” brands make wheels too, so I guess I can’t ride until someone else makes a groupset (and not wheels!).
